Besides being wrong and illegal--It's just not worth the price you'd pay.
I would not fish without a license, and would not hesitate to turn in someone fishing without one.
I know it seems trivial, but in CA, the guys going out and fishing for one day keeping fish, take their toll.
i have on private property. since license monies and taxes dont go toward management of private ponds. I usually buy my hunting/fishing combo license in feb anyway, so there is rarely a time when i dont have one anymore.
I would think it is safe to say that everyone on here has at some time or another fished without a license. Probably unintentionally or unknowingly, but it has been done. I always buy my licenses but I have been out there when I realized my license had expired! However, I will fish private ponds all day without one.
Considering that in NC right now you only have to have a liscence to fish with artificial baits in freshwater yeah I would. I only fish for bass and other freshwater fish maybe once or twice a year, then I'm not paying the money.
i never buy licenses not even in my home state. Oh wait i am only 15
I get mine before the first trip of the year.
i bought a license but forgot it over my bro's house ,then went fishing ...........got caught..........the fine was more than the license.....Wont do that again
Nope! Our wildlife needs all the $ it can get. The more of us that buy licenses the more the PETA people know we are here.
