I'm taking my 17 year old son on a seaduck hunt in Massachusetts this fall for his senior year (and myself as well ). I know we've had threads on hunting age laws before, but I've never really grasped how draconian some can be. I was told that in Mass. minors under 12 cannot hunt at all, and minors 12-15 have to share the adult's gun and bag limit. Good lord... I feel for you Mass. hunters and hope no other states are so backward in their attitude toward hunting. How long has this been the case and can dwindling hunter numbers be correlated?
