Well done,a nice Pronghorn is on my bucket list.
That's a good one for sure. I hate guessing but I'd assume high 70's.
The guide my fiance had says over 80. They put 80% of their WY pronghorn in B&C. Hopefully he makes 82. His bases could have more mass but his prongs are 5 3/4. He's in -5 walk in freezer now to be scored SCI & B&C.
Beautiful buck, Kimmie! He's got great cutters and good mass up top. I like when the tips come in tight light that.
What were you shooting and how far was the shot?
335 yards, 1 shot, blew the heart to pieces, 280 Forbes, about 70 degrees with a 30 mph crosswind. He was in a long wash, we snuck in on the side of it where it got ready to open up. He started running a doe out of it. Gary yelled "Hey!!!" He scrambled around looking, I busted him in the chest. He stumbled and hit the ground. I almost got bit by a rattler on the first trip back to the truck... It was in some sage brush around 3' from me rattling it's behind off. It was a heck of a trip.
(Don't know why this is in bold. LOL)
Really nice antelope Kimmie. He looks to be over 80" in the picture.
Well done on the shot. Congratulations!
Good shooting, Kimmie!! Yikes about the snake!
Kimmie, Nice buck!! I have been over to Wyoming hunting antelope twice just outside of Laramie. Those two antelope hunts were some of the funnest and most memorable hunts I have been on. It sounds like yours was a memorable hunt as well. Congrats!!
