Been watching MT and .CA fires. So far all friends are OK, but not out of danger.

A company my wife works for is still running tours into Glacier. The word today is that Waterton may be forced to close soon if the fire persist. So here is my wife trying to guide these folks through the unknown in an area that they probably shouldn't be right now......

My family in Or is on a stage 2 evac order right now because of the Chetco Bar fire. It's already burned 175,000 acres. That is a scary huge fire.

Flew back into SEATAC last night and the news does not come close to seeing the smoke live. I could not believe when I was looking out the window. Ash fallout up here on the peninsula is hard to believe.

Likewise at PDX. Flew in to Portland airport this afternoon and was amazed at the amount of ash on the car. We could seriously use some rain.
