Yard chemical question

Discussion in 'Habitat Forum' started by kswaterfowler, Jun 10, 2010.

  1. I've got round up in my sprayer for killing the grasses that comes up in my yard and my alley. I am getting alot of red bud trees coming up in my mulch, in the driveway, etc. I also have some shrubs I stumped off when we put in a carport that have resprouted. I have a bottle of tordon. If I mix that with the roundup will it have any adverse affects?

No. It might get a little volatile with heat but nothing too bad.

Be very care since tordon has the ability to translocate from the targeted plant to desirable ones that are very close or have roots touching targeted plant.

A 10% solution of Round-up will put the hammer on any small sprout up to about 6 feet. I wouldn't use the Tordon, you really don't need it.
