Had a fantastic day in the field yesterday morning. Finally happened got my self into a white tornado, not once but 3 of them. The biggest one must of had 4k birds in it. I was letting them land around me and there were still birds setting up hundreds of yards up. It was tough finding eagle heads in the middle of it I did manage a few though. Another totally still day not a breath of wind and warm for this time of the year too.
It was a tough day to get good pictures as there was very little light, picture quality is not that good.

Starting to shuck about 100 yards out

You have to love this one I finally caught a shucker just above the spread this juvie was traveling about mach 7

Here is what I had to put up with for about 40 minutes after I had my limit
it was one of those morning that you could have piled them up beyond what your truck could carry...

The end result I sailed a eagle head to a dug out that I picked up on my way out of the field that is why I am one short on the snows. I did make one mistake and shot a hen mallard. It was a day to remember they decoyed right in to land it doesn't get any better than this

Reg you one successful snow goose hunter. Your pics really add to the moment too. White tornadoes of snow geese coming into the decoys keeps you coming back for more.

that would be a very cool mount.. thanks for the comments guys. It was a day to remember, just wish my Dad was with me to witness the tornadoes I have told him about the tornadoes but to get the full effect you need to be in the middle of one.
