GUN-TOTING MADONNA HAS TASTE FOR HUNTING

    By ADAM MILLER

Madonna isn't crying fowl when it comes to shooting wildlife for sport and food.

The superstar songbird revealed yesterday she has developed a hearty appetite for traditional English blood sports, especially pheasant shooting.

She says she and her British film director-husband, Guy Ritchie, often stage
shoots on the grounds of their sprawling English country estate, Ashcombe House.

"When you're shooting, you are standing in the forest for really long periods of time, so you end up looking at the leaves and the sky and the
trees and you have a lot of time to meditate," said the Material Mom.

"I eat birds. You have more of a respect for the things you eat when you go through, or see, the process of killing them," the 43-year-old pop queen told BBC Radio One.

"I wear leather shoes, I eat fish, I eat chicken and I eat game. I like knowing what I'm eating, and knowing the process," she added.

Madonna, who has two children, Lourdes and Rocco, said family life is "fabulous" - and she did not rule out having more kids.

But the pop goddess, who appears next in her husband's upcoming film, "Love, Sex, Drugs, Money," said working professionally with her Guy wasn't always music to her ears.

"It was challenging for him too," she said.

"We kept saying this is gonna make or break our relationship. But we've said
that about everything, about having a baby, getting married. So far, everything's been good."

She's also set to start work on a new album, and scoffed at rumors that she's given up touring for good.

"I would never say I wouldn't do anything ever again," she said.

"That's a stupid thing to say."
