    Can't speak for the town in question, but Austin is as liberal as any city in which I've ever spent considerable time.

    Hipsters and Booming 4x4's have over run Austin. If your into skinny jeans, hipsters and a bunch of pantie waists that's is a fine place!

    Guy I work with (great guy but also very liberal) was telling me why he loves Austin. Said it's like living in Texas without being surrounded by Texans.

    I work in Texas quite a bit. When I tell people who've never been, they always comment how nice Austin is supposed to me. My response is always "Yeah, it is pretty nice....for Texas".
