Nice Bird, I have one sitting on a rock and it looks good. They can also make a good flying mount as well.

If you want to see a nice big fluffed up head, I would do some kind of standing or sitting relaxed mount. Remember, the head is not ''supposed'' to be puffed up during flight, and that thing has an awesome head on it.

Greg, I shot 2 drakes one morning that were decoying in and both had their heads puffed up. I just finished mounting the second one tonight (did both flying as they are banking/landing) with the heads puffed up and they look just how they did flying. I think when they decoy in though they puff up their heads, but if you were to mount them in a "full speed" flying pose, they would not be puffed up.

Flying or swimming; I like them either way.
