Talking Steel here - Last year we used BB's and they worked but I am thinking that #1's would be great, maybe even better with added pattern density and they should be plenty for snows as they work on Canadas. But you all have a lot more experience than me, what are your opinions.

I shoot federal 1 1/2 oz premium steel @1450 in #1 and BB. I shoot 1's for the first two and BB after that. I shoot a Beretta Xtema 2 most of the time with a wad wizard or factory IM depending on their "attitude" I am not a big proponent of emptying the gun and hopeing one falls. we shoot working birds and keep shots under 45 yds. i am sure we would kill more if we opened up but thats how we roll!

    Good Luck DD

Both are good choices. IMO....it will not matter if its BBs or 1s. Use quality shells and most importantly....hit the goose:grvn
