Honkers & snows 3" #2s & BBs decoying birds , most shots under 35 yards
Steel- 3" BBB
Maybe I should have been clear - are we all talking Snow Geese?
BBB's?? Dang, I reserve those for weary late season fat and down full Canadas myself. Hmmm....
Dead coyote if I could afford it......ha ha I agree with one size on first shots and a bb for the rear end
3 1/2" 1's or 3" BB (depending on what gun I am using in the field).
3 1/2 #2 kent fasteel. patterns and kills great. plus is affordable to shoot at high volume
Yep, we hunt snows, specks and small canadas. #1 are ok, I have killed lots of birds with them. 3" BB and BBB are what I have used for years and they work great once you get the right choke/load combo. I have shot lots of ducks with them in the goose spread as well. Down here you will find most goose hunters shoot BB and BBB steel or Hevi #2. Those are the norm.
3" 2's all day baby. 3 1/2" itsnt needed and w/ 3" I can get another shell. WIN WIN
