Zebra Mussel Cure?

    I posted this on the main forum, but there has been no discussion.

    I guess only the puddler hunters have read it so far.

    I thought maybe the diver hunters would be interested.

    What happens when the Birds eat the mussels riddled with the stuff? I cant imagine the scale that it would have to be used at to be effective.

    Article says the stuff is not harmful to other animals.

    The potassium chloride may not be harmfull by itself, but when the mussles ingest it it's chemical makeup will change because of the other chemicals in the mussles stomach. More research should be done first.

    I put some potassium Chloride KCl

    ON Some Nuggets & Wings from KFC.

    Really dindt notice anything. Was no BFD.

    The Zebras got into the Great Lakes from the ballast water in a ship from the Med. Thet now cover every inch of Lake Michigan and the water is super clear. They are wiping out the bottom of the food chain and small fish have nothing to eat or any place to hide. Perch are now at an all time low. King and Coho salmon are getting smaller each year. Sure hope they come up with something to control them !!!!
    Why can't we get an invasion of King Crab or Lobster:nutz
