Does anyone have this launcher? How do you like it?

A friend has one and as far as "box" style launcher's go it's likely the best one out there! It will throw a bumper or smaller foam duck pretty well as a mark when placed on an angle with the leg extension.

Best box launcher on the market if you like box launcher throws. I'll probably get one this year to add for a quad option, or diversions.

My opinion being what it is, but even though it's called an "upland" I would never use it for upland training. The risk of having the dog catch a bumper or bird in the mush is just too great of a risk to take. If I'm going to train on live upland birds, I'll just dizzy and toss.

There is a truly exceptional launcher for Upland training. It is the Retriever Specialists, Inc. Birds-Up "Upland" model. This launcher operates by remote release systems or can be set up to release live birds when the dog approaches the launcher and breaks an electronic beam. The Upland launcher is absolutely SAFE and a dog cannot be injured. Go to www.retrieverspecialists.com and watch the videos of the unit being activated by the dogs breaking the beam. The launcher will launch the Teal size Dokkens, Avery ATB's, live Chukars, Hen Pheasants, hen Mallards or pigeons.

Thanks guys. I won't be using it as an upland launcher, as I've got Dogtra's for that. I was just looking for something fairly small and lightweight to throw marks. I've got a couple other box style launchers and really like them, except for their weight. Just wondering if these would fit the bill.

I don't know why, but I just don't like wingers that much.
