I have had one for 3 years. I would call it an X type call. If you are where the birds want to be it sounds very realistic and is snappy. If you are running traffic I wouldn't even try it. It lacks volume but in the calls defense, I don't believe it was designed for hi-pitched screaming at birds. I like it, don't love it.

Zink goose calls are weird, sound really good in the right hands but a lot of people have trouble figuring out the back pressure with that flared bell.

Very easy call to operate. I'm not a big fan of the rest of their goose calls, as I struggle to find consistencey with the varying bell sizes. Not super loud, great call for hunting over water. It's my go to call for working geese.

    Steven,

In my opinion, the PC-1 is the easiest of the Zink Goose Calls to operate. The constriction of the end piece creates some back pressure in the call so hand position is not as critical as with the Money Maker or LM-1. The PC-1 does not have the volume of the other calls but is still a very good hunting call. As with any call purchase, go to a retailer and give one a test drive.

I have or have owned all the ZINK goose calls ....the PC-1 is Great . Like these guys say it is not the loudest call but it is a great sounding call and of all the Zink goose calls its by far the easiest to run . If you are looking for a good beginner call from the Zink line the PC-1 is your best bet :tu
