Road hunting exists because most people are lazy...At least road hunters are hunting during the season and during the daytime, and are easy to get away from...I have more concerns about the many folks road hunting at night, with spotlights, all year long. There is very little in the way of law enforcement in remote areas of California....

There are Rules for hunters that are not known to many people one being a handicapped person who applies for a permit can be issued one by the DF&W to carry a gun in a hunting rig as long as he has someone to help him or her retrieve game shot.

I like that, great to get people of all abilities into the woods and enjoying the outdoors!

I used to work for Environmental Traveling Companions in Coloma CA on the American River, we would bring people of all abilities white water rafting. Most memorable trip was the American Assoc. for the Blind. No group of people were more ballzy than that group. Imagine if you have limited to no sight and hop into a raft and hit class 3-4 white water with a 19 year old trip leader!!!! The smiles and hoots brought me great joy.
