post 12 Pic 2
Tough choice here for me. I like post #2 picture 2 the lion and also post #12 picture 2 open beek eagle
I have to go with Post 12 picture 2 though, I'll agree with one of the other guys on this one. It makes me proud to be an American
Post 15 Picture 2
The color of the picture is awesome
Great images everyone. After I saw Tom?s post, I figured that the only way to beat it would be to post an image of a scantly clad beautiful blonde dressed in animal prints in a cage to trump his eagle? While my sweetheart was up for the challenge unfortunately we couldn?t find a suitable cage in time to stage the shot...
All kidding aside, great subjects help create great images and also help overcome a few sins. My vote this time goes to Tom for Post 12, image #2. I love the subject, pose and the eye clarity. I knocked off a few points on my grading scale for the feather on the beak as well as the shadow across the eye but overall, a spectacular image that I wish I could call my own...
My runner up was Cory?s beautiful blue macaw. The subject was the only difference for me between these two great images. If it would have been possible for Cory to capture a bit more reflection in the eye as he did in the images that he posted on the forum but choose not to use in the contest, then I may have given my vote to him but an eagle usually trumps a macaw even with a feather stuck to it?s beak. Again, great subjects go a long way to help create great images.
My honorable mentions go to:
Chris? outstanding image of the Velvet Buck.
Quivira Kid?s outstanding Laughing Kookaburra
Travis? gator ? I liked it a lot!
Great shooting guys! Keep up the great work!
My vote is going to go with Cory's Blue Macaw post #16 pic #2.
Beautiful pics everyone
