My old room mate !
We still give him crap about missing a day in the field so he could get laid.
No hen greenheads ?
There were 373 in the lotto Friday night at Del Evans place. Some real winners came out of that group mid day, including an idiot who lit up the tules right next to my son trying to finish off a skyscraped cripple
Yes. The level of talent at the Del Evans place yesterday was pretty pathetic
Del Evan's doesn't have a lock on talent.... Rumor is that someone in one of the blinds at You Only Live Once thought he was shooting a couple of Greater Norther Snows - only to be informed by the warden that they were in fact Swans....
As much as I wanted to hunt a refuge this week I'm happy to have missed out on the frustration of dealing with "hunters".
Ha yeah it's so bad that we keep going back
My dog loves that place. Bonus birds everywhere. The fun lively kind she enjoys the most.
Heard multiple "never been here before" comments by reservation holders as check station personnel explained directions to blinds. Check station workers earned their pay this weekend with crowded lots and packed Lottos.
Nice you noticed that. As much grief they get as state workers, they worked their asses off this weekend. Hats off to them for dealing with all the duck dynasty wanna be's...camo face paint at the window cracks me up...
Along those lines, how long does it take to go through 250 lotto participants? Even if there were only 125, and you waited 30 seconds for the number called to answer, that's still over 60 minutes to get to number 125 (which would be the time of LST). And that doesn't account for processing those that do show! And, that's only 1/2 of the numbers signed up!
I'm all for returning to the policy of only signing up for one refuge...
