Trumps executive order is temporary - 4 months. So far it has temporarily detained less than 200 people for a few hours at the most. Lawful permanent residents of the U.S. are exempt from the order. It's going to help the US set up time to better vet those coming in to the USA from the nations on the list as well as additional immigrants.

As a taxpayer you had a chance to vote on Nov 8th, for the candidate who opposed building a Wall if that was your top concern. The candidate who opposed a wall lost the election. "Elections have consequences" as President Obama put it 8 years ago.

Yep... And electing that numbskull 8 years ago is showing just what those consequences then, are now. Everyone who voted for Obama made this bed, so they have to lie in it just like we do. Everyone else had to put up with his catastrophes for 8 years... Oh well.

So why is it that you sound like you want 'open immigration'? You mention having laws to follow and 'strict screening', so what's your specific issue with the temporary (unfortunately, IMO) ban on visitors/immigrants from the same seven countries that Obama locked out? Did you squawk about Obama's actions also?

There is NOTHING in the US Constitution that requires us to let anyone in who isn't a citizen, and surely not without a strict vetting process. To do otherwise is like sleeping with your head laying in a guillotine and never having any idea when your head will roll. I'd suggest that that would be flat out stupid to do. So why is it that anyone with any sense in their head even think to suggest that we ought to 'open our borders'???

I'd suggest that anyone who is foolish enough to want 'open borders' should leave today and go live amongst the vermin you want so badly to bring here, just to make yourself feel better, without giving any thought to the safety and security of your family, your neighbors, and fellow citizens, much less the government in total.

A Grandma was detain for 10 hours at airport with no food of water yesterday-what justify that?

Lawful permanent residents?- that's a matter of time after the executive order expires. I think mass deportation coming along and civil war with the keystone pipeline issue.

I don't agree on open borders- just don't agree that were targeting a religion and areas were the government can't profit from. Saudi should of been on that list, but the oil reserves there are too good to turn down.

:l If you think Keystone will be the impetus for civil war you are beyond help. Those are some mighty powerful blinders you've got.

Native Americans don't go down to easily. Pretty sure they will put up a fight. If some knuckleheads armed themselves just for cattle on federal land what makes you think these Indians won't arm themselves to protect there ancestors sacred land????

I do totally agree that Trump and his management team should have done a MUCH better job of thinking through the details and coordinating the implementation of this EO. No grandmothers with current Green Cards or Visitor Visas, et al, should have incurred anything more than a more diligent questioning at Customs.

I have no problem with the EO itself, other than it's too limited.

First, I don't give a Tinker's Damn what they say around the world, there is no frickin' way that 'Islam' is really a religion. It is clearly a cult and a way of governance for a society, period. And given that "at least 51%" of the Muslims here in the US, and I'd guess an even higher number around the world, support the implementation of Sharia Law, usurping the U.S. Constitution, that makes it illegal here in the US, and it has been since 1952 (if I recall correctly).

Second, inasmuch as I've state above that the implementation of Sharia Law is their primary goal, and the takeover of our government, as they have stated in countries around Europe, that says that we should be, and have the legal right, to deport any and all of them who either espouse support of Sharia, or are found to do so in their actions (since they are allowed to lie to Infidels). Period.

Thomas Jefferson and Winston Churchill knew what they were talking about. Muslims and the rest of societies DO NOT MIX.

As for Saudi Arabia, my guess is that since we really don't need Saudi oil any longer, the announcement last night/this morning(?) that Saudi Arabia has agreed to take in several million 'ME refugees' in to their already constructed refugee camps, had a bearing on not including SA on the list.
