6 grand? With a stock Zuki and no PT&T...or did you bore the carbs? Those numbers are similar to the modded Zuki's w/ PT&T from this area. I bet you could sell some of your tuning secrets, like getting around the rev limiter, to some of the guys around here. I was told it kicks in around 5800 or 5900; but I don't know that for a fact. I guess you are expecting 38-40 mph with the PT&T?

I'll let you know how much hind tit mine will suck in a couple of weeks.

My zuki is only running about 31mph with 2 people 2 batteries and fishing gear. That is with a stock prop.

6 grand brotha. whoever told you about the 58-5900 didnt know what they were talkin about. It fluctuates between 5950 and 6070. The CMC is up in the air. Guy was supposed to call me @ 9 this morning. Still no call. I think when its all said and done, CMC, right prop, and a little "fine tuning" I could be up around 40.

    If I'm lyin' I'm dyin'.

Let me add that I do not nessesaraly want to run 6k. Seems the curve drops off at about 56-5700.

In Close, I think that was me and you talking. I have always said "the book" said 5900 +/- 100 RPM .................. of course them little peoples never do get the factory manuals right. You might spin 6000 Blow, maybe they missed the rev limit circuit on the box you have, maybe you have a good box, or maybe your just full of goose grease. You are right, the power starts to fall off real quick about 57-5800 so theres not much of a reason to stick it out there.

I will share this with you, I have done a bunch of wrenching on a bunch of
DT25c and what your describing just doesn't add up, wish you were closer, I would love to see it.
