Was fortunate to have a friend who offered his Maine camp for my son and I. We definitely put the time in getting it ready for the bear opener and the hard work paid off as we tagged out.
I am the proud owner of an original Maine built Sea Class 17. It's a 1999 model year and 1 of only a handful built in Maine before the fiberglass shop burnt down.
I have seen some DIY A frame ideas on line and one on here and they look pretty simple.I was thinking i would make one out of 1" square aluminum since i have access to a mig and aluminum wire spool gun..

Which brand or make of electric fillet knives do you like best?? I need a knife strong enough to handle big catfish
I'm not much of a dedicated goose hunter but I will try em if they work close enough to the duck decoys... Specks are becoming more common in my area and I will blow a Canadian call at them with some success... But I figure they will finish a lot better with a speck call.

I was up in Douglas county WI, I asked the Barnes historical society, who has the Gordon Macquarie Museum, if they would open it on the day they were closed as it was the only day I could make it. They did!!
I have always loved "The Far Side" cartoons! My favorite one is a couple ducks at a bar and one is bandaged up... The other asks if he will tell his wife how he got shot? Heck no! First thing she will ask is why I was looking at another duck!
