i have read in several the old timers used what were called Pickelhead decoys. As I understand they were decoys that were just the head with a long neck that had a stake in the botton that they used to push in the weeds. Does anyone have a picture of what they may have looked like ? I’m bored and I would like to make some for my Grandson.
Of all the ones I've done this one came clean easiest. A little more cleaning and on the wall
Tried a new test formula for Cotto Salame. Cotto is a cooked salame, slightly smoked but not dry cured. It's like an Italian summer sausage with less smoking time.
I haven't posted any photos here lately, but since I've been doing a fair amount of shooting with my camera lately, I figured I'd put up a few.
Please post 'em up. Thanks!
I am assuming that any recipe will be able to be used with venison, too???
What would heritage be without maintaining traditions....

Seeing fishing pics has my blood flowing. Within a couple of weeks it'll be time to go after spoonbill. Who else chases these monsters?
