Reloaded 2 3/4" x 1 3/8 oz. lead 5,s as my duck load back then. Very few cripples if any. Normally shot thru mod or full choke. First steel was pure junk. Been better off throwing the shell at bird, LOL. Cripples & fly away hit birds abounded with the 12. Went to a 10 which helped a bit. Latter...
This will be my first season shooting Bismuth in my 20,s. Seen quickly reloading is the way to go. Hadn,t reloaded anything in at least 15 years but if you can find the materials its the way to go.
I,ve used the Avery Strap vests for years, since they were actually waxed cotton. Still have my original but Latest I have is Cordura Nylon. Couldn,t pass up a sale few years ago. Plenty of pockets, game bag on back. Casegard S25 20 gauge plastic bx for shells. Holds a bx which drops into vest...
Limbsaver replacement recoil pads and 2 3/4" duck loads will help greatly reduce felt recoil in your BPS. Adding a Graco recoil reducer in buttstock and mag tube will also help some but will add a few ounces to gun weight which isn,t necessarily a bad thing in a waterfowl gun
Backwater Performance sells the Shaggy Blind same as the old Mudbuddy Blind. About as good a bought A frame style as you,ll find. You can step between uprights at each end of boat without dropping blind.
Small blue or croaker fillets w/green pepper, onion, butter and a spritz of lemon juice. Wrapped in a tin foil packet and cooked on grill ain,t bad a bit.
Shame because you could just about always be guaranteed to catch croaker when everything else was slow. Wife loved to catch fish and they were the perfect easy to catch fish and doubles on light tackle could get the adrenaline flowing. Many don,t like to eat them about like small blues but I...
Always marinate my duck cabob meat in pineapple juice w/chunks going along side vegs on skewer. Delicious. Won,t cook duck without citrus of some type included except in chili.
To busy cookin to take pics but Steamed Shrimp, Bacon Wrapped scallops on the grill, Steamed Delicious Sweet Corn, Zucchini& squash casserole and some mac & cheese. Feedin the kids that are here from Calif. something tasty. Of course little granddaughters wanted hot dogs on the grill but I did...
Bayberry. Normally grows right at edge of wet/ dry transition area. Can stand a bit of standing water but if your getting say 6" standing water constantly plant in old bushel baskets filled with soil. Roots will develop and eventually obtain true bottom but raised soil gives plants a good...
Good physical therapist soon as your able . When thats completed keep up the routines their going to progress you thru on your own. Movement done correctly is whats going to improve it.
I had a 7400 in 280. With proper worked up handloads and trigger job it would shoot 3 shots in 3/4" from bench. That was using every bit of clip length for reloads as biggest problem with any auto is clips normally wont allow O.A.L. to get best accuracy from them. IMR 4350 w/ 140 grn. Ballistic...
Theres a few different models of the 7400 and that would determine price but sans scope and good condition I,d guess gun shop might allow between $400 & $500 at the high end. May go as low as $350. They can be made to be pretty accurate with handloading and a decent trigger kit which is...
