No I don’t have any extras. I know there are different densities of cork but other than that I don’t know much about it. I emailed RNT to see if there’s anything they could do about it but I haven’t heard back yet.
Ok so the Mylar part doesn’t seem too bad. I could get that from Amazon if I have to. What about cork? Are there different kinds of cork or will any kind do?
I recently got my first mondo and I absolutely love it. That being said I want to order some replacement reeds and corks for when they wear out. On the RNT site the reeds and corks are cheap enough but shipping to canada is just ridiculous. Over 50$ to ship. Does anybody know of a way I can get...
Whenever i get a shell that does that I usually toss it in the water where I can pick it up later on the off chance that it decides to go off after I take it out of the chamber.
thank you for that post. Extremely informative. I actually messaged Echo calls yesterday and explained that I’m used to a double reed but really want a single reed. He suggested that a breaker would be a good call for me.
I’m more conflicted now than before I started this thread. lol. I’m seriously looking at an echo breaker now. I’m thinking this could turn into an expensive obsession.
I knew it would happen but now I’m wondering what people would choose if they didn’t want an RNT. I really don’t like the look of the echo calls. I know looks don’t kill ducks but I want something that I like to look at.
I’m probably going to get a ton of answers and reasons why one call is better than the others but I’m going to ask anyway. I want to buy a good single reed call and I’ve narrowed it down to RNT but there are so many different models that I’m not sure which one to get. I’d say that I’m an average...
That’s what I use on all of my decoys. 2x 8 oz barrel leads. Even they move in some of the wind we get here so I usually stamp them into the mud when it’s blowing.
Honestly I’m not sure anymore. Lol. As I’ve been looking around it seems like most 20 gauge guns are either around 600$ or over 1500$. That’s in Canadian dollars. The more I look at it the more likely it seems that I’ll end up buying something higher end unless I can find something used.
Does anybody subscribe to any of these? I got the sportsman’s box last week to try. I wasn’t expecting anything special since I got the least expensive option but to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. A sure shot duck call that sounds terrible. A cheap headlight thats fine but...
