Nothing you can do about a 2-3 week heatwave during what should be peak migration, and a severe drought limiting where birds can settle in and not be harassed.
I hunted low pressured birds in Texas for the last 3 days. Makes all the difference.

I'm hunting right on state line in rice in northeast Louisiana this morning. We had 4 groups of teal early then nothing. No high flights at all. Really thought we'd be on em after seeing the teal show up early. They'll have ice here next 3 mornings.
If I still had my place in Jones I know I would be there Sunday morning for the snow. I've never had a disappointing snow hunt. I'll be in south Louisiana, on big water most likely with a wind break on my north side hoping birds move.
