i drew a unit 36, Ruidoso Elk tag for October. Can anyone give any idea of some areas to check out. We will be out there 3 days early to scout. Any info on the general habits. Where are they in the morning afternoon and evening. I know in Colorado you had to intercept them early in the morning...

Are you using them on deer, don't think that's heavy enough for elk. how easy do they load?
