    Hobbies?

If I'm not hunting I am either golfing, or this... I have been riding hydrofoils for about 20 yrs now ( I am 66yrs old ) and can still land inverts on my sit down foil. I don't recover from crashes as well as I used to though.

    25 hp on a G3 1852 or 1860

I run a 150hp on my 860... I would go crazy running a 25hp on it. My last boat was a 1650 with a 110hp on the back. I like big HP and I can not lie...

    Falconry

A few years ago a buddy and I were hunting from layout blinds for ducks on a harvested barley field. Ducks were everywhere and we finished in about an hour. The birds were still piling into the decoys, so we decided to sit in our closed blinds and watch the show. We had mallards on the ground...

Ive done the 11 man limit on geese before. I would much rather have a max of 4 guys. Hunting ducks on the river for me its 2 guys max usually.

Now Closed: A Late, Last-Minute Seahawks Prediction Contest!

Great game! I went on a limb when I predicted a 10-7 season and I ended up being only one game off. They exceeded almost everyone's expectations for what was supposed to be a rebuilding year. Bring on the 49ers!

I am liking your choices of Bourbon. I have a pretty good collection of Basil myself. I really like their Caribbean Rye... finished in rum casks. If you ever see it anywhere... buy it.

    Boat ramp etiquette

One of the places we go to in the summer is Crescent Bar on the Columbia river. On a big weekend, there are hundreds of boaters out on the river. A lot of them congregate at a big sandbar below the Gorge Amphitheater. There will be close to 100 boats anchored or beached around the sand bar, all...

You guys know anybody that drowned or almost drowned while wading?

I posted this on another thread... When I was younger, a buddy of mine and myself decided to hunt a public walk in area of the tidal flats. We were the only rig in the parking lot when we arrived. It was a cold January afternoon in the low single digits and the salt water was starting to freeze...

    Dog or No Dog?

I hunt solo a lot. Mostly big rivers. There was a time when my last dog passed and the new puppy was too young to hunt. Hated it not having a dog. I hunted my new one as early as I could.

    Embarrassing hunting mistakes?

When I was younger, a buddy of mine and myself decided to hunt a public walk in area of the tidal flats. We were the only rig in the parking lot when we arrived. It was a cold January afternoon in the low single digits and the salt water was starting to freeze. We waded through the flats with...
