Went fishing in Manasquan Inlet this evening on the outgoing tide. Caught, tagged and released a fluke and 6 bluefish to 32” with teasers, Avas, a spoon and a stainless steel Jap metal in 160 minutes. Caught 46 fish in 15 trips to the inlet this year.- NJ219bands

Took 81 years old brother Joe and 70 years old friend Dave fishing in Manasquan Inlet this evening during a cold, sunny nor’easter on the incoming tide. We caught 12 bluefish. Not bad for 3 old guys. Went to ShopRite to buy corn meal. Didn’t find Quaker yellow corn meal. Bought Indian Head instead. Recooked my old corn meal mush bait with new ingredients, then went carping in 70 degree Carnegie Lake in the evening. Parking lot wasn’t filled. Went fishing in Manasquan Inlet this afternoon on a cold, sunny day with a strong north wind and incoming tide after a cold front. Saw a big bluefish caught and released over the fence when I arrived. I caught, tagged and released 6 bluefish to 19” with 60 casts in < 2 hours with an Ava A-17...- NJ219bands

Went carping in flooded, muddy 56 degrees Carnegie Lake this evening in the cold rain during a small craft advisory sou’easter and flood warning. Looked like little China when I arrived.
