I haven't shot a 10 in a few years but I did a lot of testing when I did and the TPS was hands down the best.
What BBL? What hull? It makes a difference. Don't give a R.A. if the slits are perfectly straight or not.

I dislike TPS specifically due to unjustified unavailability.
I have thousands of both, but for some reason the TPS box doesn't get lighter very fast?

I've had large pellets burn thru the petals on Sam 1 cups, not so with TPS. Advisable to use a mylar wrap inside the Sam1 cup. Also, I've had to use
1 1/2 grain more Steel powder in the RSI cup to achieve similar velocities.
What BBL? What Hull? it makes a difference. I've been loading RSI wads in 10 gauge for 35 years, and have never see any advice on using a mylar wrap? Not required.

28" barrel using mostly federal hulls. I had two different guns shooting the terror 720. Shoot what you want but there's no way those uneven slits and different petal thickness won't affect patterns and patterns testing proved that over and over again.

It works for me.

Best of luck on the 10 gauge hulls, unless they have some. Otherwise you will be limited to Cheddite.
Is there anything bad about 10 gauge Cheddite hulls? That's what I'm currently limited to. But the season doesn't start for 8 more months.

Nothing wrong with cheddite hulls just a little bit shorter than federal and Remington. I fold crimp everything and I have never had a issue with Sam 1 wads pattern great through my bps 10 gold 10 and my Remington SP 10, and my 12 gauges as well

I've not used them. Joe Speroni, the late great author of "High Performance Reloading for the 10 Gauge shotgun" writes in his book, "Cheddite also offers 10 gauge hulls, however after thorough testing, I did not find them of adequate quality to invest in them and there is little to no load data available." He knows more, and did more load testing than anybody I've ever heard of. You could try a few, but for my money, I would use Remington's or Federal's, or Winchester hulls. If you can find them. Good luck!

Cheddite seem to swell more than Federal. Some gold10’s will not reliably cycle the Cheddite 10’s without some modifications to the springs or chamber
