.17 Hmr

    Thought I'd post a pic of the rifle my son won at our Delta banquet, it's the Delta Predator Special..17 hmr, bull barreled Marlin, has a fox engraved on the butt stock & a Delta logo medallion on the stock under the sling stud.

    Nice gun. 17hmr's are awesome shooters, I have a Savage.

    I also have a Savage and it is just plain fun to shoot.

    I have one just like that, only no fancy engravings on mine. I love it, I'm sure he will too.

    My dad has the same gun with a synthetic stock and its an absolute tack driver with pretty much any load, i chose the ruger 77/17 and put a trigger job on it, because i liked that it was a bit heavier and had a longer barrel, but i have yet to see a 17 HMR that didnt go 3/4" at 100 yds if the shooter did his job

    .17hmr is an awesome caliber. I use mine for anything from fox to pigeon....
