Hunted north Kansas at Nebraska line Friday Saturday Sunday and shot 9 with 4 guys; 8 adults and 1 Ross. Hardly saw anything and those we did appeared to be 90% adults. Friend said birds were thick the 7th - 13th. Going back later this week but I think it was a massive push and now it’s over.

Hunt yesterday again, shot 5 in the AM and 2 in the PM. Plenty of birds around but the didn't move much until after dark. We picked up and are moving to northern Missouri. We hunted March 11 thru yesterday. Number of birds shot were 1-1-2-3-16-14-45-7 didn't hunt all day mainly 2 to 4 hours in AM and PM. Middle of the days were slow. No vortex or flyers but did use a Jack Kite with some success. 1100 decoys.

Those are some good numbers considering the pattern of the birds this year and the hours that you hunted. Way to get after them!

Geese should stay in northern Nebraska or southern South Dakota for awhile...I’m in northeast S.D. and we still have 20+ inches of snow on the ground soo

Oh I wouldn't bet on them being stuck down on 90 for long. There is a definite chink in the armor of this snowline and it just so happens to be right in their flyway. Once they get to Redfield is where a bit of a hold up will likely happen.

Well consider yourself lucky to be on that side of the snowline because when they get to this side of it there's not a damn thing north of ours so they are going to roll hard to Candida!

I purposely left Canada misspelled because that is the damnedest autocorrect I've ever seen! I had to seriously Google it to see if it was even a real thing!:doh

They are behind a bit, usually into North Dakota by now. Migration north is in full effect right now.
