Thought some of ya'll might be interested in this...
I’m thirty miles from Effingham and it takes me about 3 hours to get to Paducah. Pretty good haul for a bird in one day I would think. Little boogers are flat out gettin it!

Land between the lakes is my stomping grounds. Kentucky fish and wildlife traps a few hundred woodies there each year. Guess the transmitter can follow the rest south! Funny thing is September early season usually see lots of woodies and good for a couple banded too. Come thanksgiving still see and kill lots of Woodies til mid December but none banded. Goes to show our locals leave and quickly replaced with migrators!

Dag gone, that watered up milo, looks good!! Been a long time since I’ve been in that.
Ducks are starting to show up...push of ducks today.
That’s good because I didn’t see squat at my place last weekend. Might go down tomorrow so hoping we picked up a few ducks.
