Good work guys. Could have went and pounded greasy divers on the bay but did my own thing and tried out a new body of water. 1/2 mile in kicked out a good pile mallards and a few black ducks. Setup where they were but none returned. Made a move. Kicked up 2’s and 3’s around every bend and could have easily jump shot my limit but I wanted some decoying action. Birds were antisocial today and just wanted to be alone in the woods. Finally had a suzie decoy nicely. Called it a day. Was nice being out in the peace and quiet. No other hunters, no sky busting, no kazoo calling. Was a good day just riding the river in the canoe.

Nice piles, guy's. I couldn't hunt yesterday but you all seemed to do quite well. I was glad to be back this morning with a buddy at a small duck hole. It seems for me, most of my duck spots start to really get good once everything is frozen. Can't wait for next week.
