It was a hell of a shoot. Now I have my sights set on the 300 mallards that are hanging around my local haunt for the Desert Opener. My dad's coming out from Colorado and I always enjoy sharing a blind with him, even if there aren't many ducks. I don't think this will be the case this year!

And NO, I will not be hunting Tempe Town Lake ;)

Nice info on the dogs, Colin! Didn't know you got a lab. Wife wants me to get 2nd dog... I need to get on this!

    Hey Gang,

With it being hot again I thought I would post up a picture from a few weeks ago. Fun hunt With my buddy.

First hunt of the season and we nailed a double limit.
We had some great shooting, great calling and an awesome spread made the ducks works perfect.

    Nice shooting guys!!

Chance-those cinnamons look fantastic. Gadwall drakes and mallards too? Fantastic mixed bag. Ducks have been eluding me thus far, I’ve only
    shot 30 or so.

However, one of my long drives finally paid off and we got into some geese! Hard hunt but we got it done. ED4C4E0D-78BA-47D0-AF26-BFB7C67123D1.jpeg
