Most left Mound yesterday. A few random, confused stragglers flying in all different directions not knowing what to do.

And they’ll turn around and come right back with temps going into the 50s

Yeah, there were wandering flocks of birds over St. Louis last night and this morning. Going all directions. They'll be headed back north on the south wind the next few days I'm sure.

First day out in SE Nebraska. Of course all adults doing the drop to 150 and then slide off. Had a 3 pack drift over about 400yds up. I flip the caller on and they turned and locked up. Never flapped their wings til we shot, killed 2. Dog got a little work in, a bunch of exercise running around while we setup/picked up, and we got the rust knocked off for setting snow spreads. 20DC724A-37FE-4BD2-9901-4F566959801D.jpeg 43387555-D23D-47DB-AF94-46D1E830EBFB.jpeg

I was driving back from Chicago, and started seeing snow geese just south of Springfield IL today and that was where the snow line was. Lots of them hitting the fields around there.
