Hunted Thursday…watched the geese bounce around town all morning. Hunted Friday, busted an inch or so of ice shot 4 ducks should have had about 10 or so. Couldn’t find anything worth trying Saturday or today.

Shot some geese Saturday. Tried ducks today, another bust . The birds here know the routine pretty dang good . Lots of hunters very, very little shooting.
Won't hunt Thurs , but hopefully we can find something for Friday.

Does anyone think the season is going to get any better ?
This is my/ our worst duck season ever, I'm hoping it's going to give us a few good days.
I'm getting tired of scouting for the same results each week . I'm sure we'll kill plenty more geese, but I'm really hoping for a couple decent duck hunts . From what I'm hearing may not be alot left up north to come ,even if we get the weather before season ends.

Well, im done for awhile. Tested positive on saturday. Fever felt like it was gonna kill me, but it broke this am and I dont feel too bad now.

I hear from a couple guys I trust that there are alot of mallards in places in sd. Problem is, there is no weather in the 15 day forecast that will move them.

After going over Missouri’s managed areas new numbers looks like they had a nice mallard push the last few days. Probably close to 90-1000k.
