2022-2023 Season Recommendations

Here is the 2022-2023 waterfowl season recommendations. Main changes: duck seasons in Zone 2 and 4 moved back up a week, goose season in Platte River Unit moved to same day as duck opener. Scaup limit increased to two. Mergansers now counted in duck bags.

I guess the squeeky wheel got the grease this year! I believe most of us on this forum would be pleased with these changes. It's the weekend warriors on Facebook that will be upset.

Surprised actually TG they did move it up a week in the Late Zone! Glad they listened to us.

Guys this is just recommendations and there are few commissioners that will do everything in their power to move it back to last year's dates looking out for their buds I have been fighting these late season dates for a lot of years went to the meetings call anyone who pick up the phone and they still over turn the recommendations so don't kid yourself these dates are not set in stone call all the commissioners' and game and parks tell them to stick with the recommendation! Go to the meeting if you can they have on weekday hoping no one shows up I'm done with my rant for now!

NO. Ever wonder why they have the meeting in the middle of the day in the middle of the week? Heaven forbid they have it at 7pm or sometime when Joe Average Working Man Duck Hunter might be able to attend!
