Thanks for sharing the story @marsh man dan! He's a great looking dog and was glad to help! Madi was the same way with geese her first year. Took some coaxing, but now it's all business.

Felt like hunting season this morning! Been doing some scent training with the dog and I think it is going to help -- thanks for the ideas.
Some NW winds maybe we'll get some new teal for this weekend or lose the ones we have, lol.

Was outside this morning for a few hours......saw quite a few flocks of migrating geese.

Agreed. Saw 400-500 migrators in the couple of hours I had to sit at our golf outing tonight. Should be a great weekend with fresh birds if that’s what you’re chasing.

Might have seen a couple three hundred wood ducks. 201 teal, 8 mallards, 18 widgeon and 2 pintails. @pointblind . I might have cleaned a couple or 10 - 12 ducks. I tried buddy, I really tried with every duck. I just couldn't get myself to swallow it.
