Looks good , be a good moment when you kill the 1st one over them .
Well the WWW got off to a decent start today. We kept 4 walleyes between 16 and 19 inches. Lots of wind as usual, probably won’t get out again this weekend as sustained winds of 20 with gusts to 45 tomorrow and Sunday has wind and rain. Just have to indulge in the other W’s I guess.

Nice morning here . Never heard a tom .
Same 2 Jake's at 15 yards at 7 .
Then they came back about around 8 .
Saw 1 hen by herself in between. Should have went mushroom hunting I guess.

Decided to hunt a different area as I'm tired of those 2 Jake's.
I've always parked in a feild drive and walked in from the west and crossed a little creek to get past the roost . Well at 4:45 this morning I found out the beavers had dammed it up . Tried to cross on a fallen log , slipped got wet and tweaked my back.
Hobbled back to to the truck , it was hell . At that point I was 30 yards from where I was going to set , but still on the wrong side of the creek.
Drove around the section , to watch 1 Tom 3 Jake's and 3 hens end up where I would have been .
I may be too old and broken up for this crap anymore.
Been on the couch with heating pad most of the day .
Son wants me to come over and hunt with I'm Friday. Looked at calendar and it's Friday the 13th !!.
