Said it before and I’ll say it again. Oct 15th or the nearest Saturday too it for an opener.

Man its tough. Id say closest to the 7th and do the split right after the first weekend and reopen that next weekend. Dont lose a woodie shoot (besides during the teal season ) and still catch the start of the gadwalls....in our area anyways. Ive seen the majority of the woodies vamanose by the 2nd opener

Well sauger at least have been tanking on the miss for at least 10yrs, that is fact. If the majority of the public wants lower bag limits to get ahead of the inevitable, is that really a bad thing?

Yes it's bad to listen to only public opinion and not a combination of science and input. Remember that most of the public is composed of mouth breathing morons that don't actually know much about what they are trying to accomplish.

I heard public input on a 16 day teal season is about 50/50 at this point. If you are interested get online and complete the survey. Tell your friends too!!

Sometimes my figuring is not correct.

But just curious why anyone would be against this?
Not trying to start a fight. Just wondering if I am missing something.

We have an early woodduck/teal season here.
5 days mixed, then woodduck closes, and teal only for another 5 days.

Seems like it is over, before it begins.

Too many people think it negatively affects their precious opening day. The one weekend I try my best to not duck hunt due to the idiots that abound.
