I wish they would default the teal season answer to 16.

Late season is over hyped, it’s hard on the dog, hard on equipment, dealing with ice and schizophrenic mallards... Give a beautiful day in October or Nov any day.

The pucker factor tends to be inversely proportional to the temperature.

Worst turn out for a meeting I’ve ever seen. As waterfowlers we should be ashamed of the support for the chance at offering suggestions and opinions. The formal online input tool is a big factor, I'm sure.

Also post-covid world many have rightfully lost trust in "authorities". Imagine trusting an institution that, on a whim, can tell a person they can't legally work and have to wear a piece of cloth over their face.
