2023 Fishing

Here is yesterday's trip.

I've been after the put and take trout in local
lakes while waiting for Lk Roosevelt (Columbia River behind Grand Coulee Dam) to refill a little. Trolling my flies makes it even more fun.

It's the ones that get away that haunt you. Put on a clinique on how to LDR yesterday.

Been getting some nice walleye up in the basin. Hank did great on his first boat trip. Little hot out for a black dog so we took lots of splash breaks on the bank.

Investing in a rubber coated net will make it quick work removing fish, hooks and releasing fish.

Last two walleye trips, I look forward to chasing walleye every year, nice break from bonking salmon.
