Not much to show for duck hunting this past season. One of my current boys, Sonny, and the odd for location Redhead decoy has the ashes of my previous boy, Tobie in it.

Did get in lots of upland hunting, including breaking in several new pups. The brown lab is also mine. He's a knucklehead, but showed lots of promise this season on the upland front. Next season he'll hopefully get more waterfowl time in. He was at least calm & quiet in the blind his couple trips this year. Just zero opportunity for retrieves.

Yes you do. A 16 ga that was my Pap's. SIL was using it that day.

Couple guns missing from the picture, but I'm sure my oldest daughter was using the youth 870. It's her one gun I didn't let her take when she moved out west since it's my wife's house gun when I'm away. She's a tiny thing and still likes shooting it. IIRC, that day my youngest daughter was shooting a Model 12 20ga and I was shooting an old Fox Model B. When my kids come home & hunt with me we often drag all the safe queens out for a shoot and leave the newer semi's, O/U's, etc behind.

Have Fox 16ga 2.5.....shells are hard to get even from RST. Nice to still be able to use the oldies.
Enjoy the times!
