I agree 100%. The laws need to be passed/strengthened via our elected Representatives in Congress per the Constitution.

That bunch is very effective and always have the interest of the people the represent at heart so surely it will happen.

You're absolutely right as always. Just give power and decision making on a policy to a bunch of unelected permanently appointed "Government Officials". They can pick and choose when they want something to be covered by the Clean Water Act and when they don't - because sometimes they feel like a nut and sometimes they don't.

And the States be damned as well, right?

I'm Not Even Sure Anymore
Well, I guess I’m the dissenter then. I don’t like wetlands being drained but I like it even less when a bureaucracy can create rules without out having to go through a legislative process involving elected officials

The swamp in DC doesn’t need to be in the business of creating de facto laws about what constitutes a swamp

What the court decision did was prevent the EPA from redefining a rule, and exponentially, expanding their authority over private property.
As far as blaming Farmers for draining wetlands, without federal programs and subsidies it would not be profitable for them to do so.

I took "that bunch" as being your response to "Representatives in Congress per the Constitution" in my quote...

Yep. That is correct. Do you currently feel congress is capable of getting anything done at all as of late?

One side is always "attempting" these days.
Do you object to anything in the GOP debt limit bill?
It seems that Joe and the rest of the hard left does.
