Do you object to anything in the GOP debt limit bill?
It seems that Joe and the rest of the hard left does.

You're missing the point.

It's not going to get done.

And if they had the power to do so, they wouldn't even propose it.

House Repubs did pass a debt ceiling bill, that increases the debts ceiling, over a month ago.

And where is it now?

Is it getting done?

That's the whole idea of Congress - separation of powers - checks and balances.

The Government is only supposed to function with the consent of the people thru their elected representation - not at the whims of unelected bureaucrats.

Yes. Partisan fighting was the point of congress. /s

These are not checks and balances.

I am glad you hate wetlands so much though.

The damage to wetlands and waterfowl that might be incurred because of this ruling is deeply depressing; I cannot think of positive. I cannot imagine how disastrous a prolonged serious drought in the Prairies would have on the breeding population with fewer wetlands. I am older (74) and have enjoyed waterfowling in several states and provinces of Canada, but the future seems bleak; not immediately, but over the next few years. As for the debt discussions, the Dems and GOP approved the spending that is no coming due. Pay those bills and work on future budget after that. Bush, Obama, and Trump programs and polices pushed the national debt to unsustainable levels, but the real blame in the House and Senate during those years that approved the spending.

I agree w/ you 100% except you left out Biden and the previous 116th US Congress 1/3/2019 - 1/3/2021. And unfortunately so far this current Congress ain't looking to be any better...

So you are predicting the US defaults on its debt.
