There is wetlands left, few but some, that will undoubtedly be drained now. I can assure you the farmers in the PPR are well aware of this ruling. The glory days of duck hunting is over…it was a good run

They’ve been over for awhile now. USFWS counts don’t reflect it but reality does.

In some areas they really can’t do much more draining. All the tile that is needed is already in.

But yea this doesn’t help.

Yes. Partisan fighting was the point of congress. /s

These are not checks and balances.

I am glad you hate wetlands so much though.

I love wetlands....but if I see a Mexican, or a Black guy, or especially a black trans guy eating mexican food, while on a boat in a wetland......fork it, drain it. :yes :l

No, I need the boycott to continue.....my wife says Wal-Marks down the road from us has Bud Light for 2.89 a 12 pack. If it gets below 2 bucks I'm gonna put on a dress and buy 10 cases. :yes :l :l

I had to look that up....sounds awesome. I got off the IPA's about 6 months ago after a solid 10 year run.....but I still enjoy them on occasion, especially with a meal. I might go find a bottle or two just to taste it. :tu

Now there's a beer I haven't heard mentioned in years.

Good for you. I got to the beach house last night and the beer fridge was fully stocked with bud light, pops caved already.

Which is extra funny because he never bought bud light a day in his life previously.

Ultra is the only low carb beer in any store around me, and I always look because I rarely bought the same beer twice in a row before watching intake. I like variety in beer. These days about the only time I drink beer is in the boat.

Son came to visit the other day, and I picked up a case for him. He’s not particular, so I checked a bunch of pilsners before buying. I had hopes of stocking up on cheap Bud products, but none of the Bud brands had dropped prices at all.

Jeez talk about a thread derailment.
Major win for real estate developers and farmers. This could lead the way for increased drainage of shallow permanent and temporary wetlands throughout the US, especially in the Upper Midwest and Great Plains. It is a major loss for ducks and other shorebirds, but I suspect the affects will not seen for a few years. Nonetheless, the decision will have a negative effect on waterfowl populations overtime.
Do you have a site or something you can link that actually describes what the ruling is? The WOTUS rule changed a couple years a go when Trump changed the definition. Is that what this challenge was related to?

I'll buy bud light for $2 a twelver though...
