Where is everyone buying their primers. I'm looking for 1000. I know they can be found online, but where's the best place to buy from?

I see they have Cheddite primers, has anyone used them in their primer pistols?

I use Cheddite primers in one of my blank pistols (the other are .22 pistols). I used them all the time in my wingers. I go through a lot of primers. They're fine.

Muzzleloader 209’s are easier to find in person. Walmart and Academy has them.

Are they the same as a regular 209, or hotter?
I think they are “hotter” as in a bigger flame sparks to ignite the black powder.

I’ve reloaded them for ‘poppers’ with nothing but the primer in a hill (no powder, no wad, no shot) for use in a pump shotgun for training dogs. Nobody said anything was different about them used this way.
