So I bought a .224 valkyrie. Its kind of a new caliber, and nobody at work was willing to pull the trigger on o e so I figured what the heck. Its currently getting a camo Cerakote job. Going to run 90 gr bullets for deer and probably 60 gr vmax for coyotes.

    Good luck to you
    For me I can't get past a 223, 22/250, 243 or a 30/06.

I have a Ruger Precision in 6.5 Creed but keep reading the Valkyrie is the next best thing. If you don't mind me asking, what rifle did you go with? Have you had a chance to try it out yet? I like to hear what actual owners have to say as this will probably be my next purchase.
    Thanks, Jon

How do you like the 6.5? Been kicking around the idea of getting one

I absolutely love the 6.5 and would recommend it to anyone. My first 6.5 was a Ruger American Predator that I had won and that gun would shoot sub moa all day with good optics. I recently started dabbling in LRP and have shot the 6.5 Precision out to 800 with good results.

Havent got to shoot it yet. I paired a Palmetto State Magpul lower with a blemished Palmetto State upper. Just got it back from a buddy that does Cerakote. No more bright stainless steel barrel or shiny black upper/lower components. Ill get the scope on it and shoot it sometime this week. 20180917_185101.jpg

That is a fine looking piece of firearm machinery. I must say it lack a little something classic of a nice figured wood, bedded stock.

Dang, that's some nice hardware you got. I bet that is one very accurate rifle and a hoot to shoot. I also like the Cerakote job, looks so much better than standard. One more question, what optics are you going with? I'm looking towards Leupold VX3I LRP. PSA rocks, now I gotta go and spend some money thank you.
