So it is B.O.A.T. Time……
Checked on my boat today, and it seems my Bass Pro XPS 3 bank charger finally died.
It was on the boat when I bought it, so I know it has some age to it.

So I need recommendations on a new 3 bank charger.
I will take opinions, but please give me the pros and cons of why you chose the one you did over another.

I went back and read several of the threads discussing chargers, but did not see anything relatively current, within last year.
Technology is rapid, so seeing what is out there.

Here's a 15% off code at the NoCo site.

Not sure how long it will work, but a quick google search will lead you to more. Possibly up to 20% off as well. That what I got the last 2 purchases from them.

IMO the minn kota precision chargers are the most full featured and durable chargers. It's made of metal, it can charge any type of batteries including a lithium setting on the newest models, you can set the battery type for each bank (not all chargers do this!). I have a 2 bank and it's been working great for 4 years.

I have never had a noco marine charger but if my jump pack and portable battery charger are any indication, they make disposable junk. I'm on my second battery charger after a warranty replacement and the jump pack won't take a charge after owning it for 3 years and using it 1 time on a boat and 2 or 3 times on the mower. I would never put one of their products in my boat.

That's funny. I'm exactly the opposite! I'm almost 100% sure i'll never buy anything Minn Kota. And never had a bit of trouble with any if the 3 Noco items I own.

NOCO. I use them in both my boats. I have a 4 bank in my bass boat and I have a single bank in my duck boat. I just upgraded the one in my duck boat because the newest generation can do lithiums, and they are half the size of the one I had for 4 years. I have NEVER had any issue with the noco stuff. The are top notch.

Getting ready to add a keyline isolator to the bass boat. From looking at it, I am impressed with the quality and the way it is built. I run down the electronics battery pretty good with all the new fishfinder technology in these bass boats. I could wear a 31 series battery out in a day and a half. So it will be nice to know that when I get on the big motor, I will be charging that electronics battery once the voltage is over 13.9v, which is almost instantly. I see 14.3 within a minute of two of being back on the big motor once I moved my electronics over to its own battery.

I follow a couple of boat groups on facebook and noco feedback is hit or miss there. Have not seen anyone complain about minn kota chargers. Have seen some minn kota trolling motor complaints.
