Buddy of mine won a yeti cooler and a pelican cooler. He filled them with ice and left in the hot Ga sun. Pelican had ice in it three days longer than the yeti.

You are going to trigger some with that statement.

Pelican makes some top shelf products I have a few of their cases and nothing comes close to them.
They just don't spend the money on advertising, IMO they don't have to.

Those things can take a beating. And they are making money hand over fist on the USG buying their cases. We’ve bought thousands of them, in every size imaginable. Hardigg makes a good one too.

They are great, I want to buy one of the coolers that is a 20quart size I think. Which ever one is a bigger than normal lunch box. Be handy to strap on the four wheeler.
The last cooler I bought was a lifetime from Walmart. It was built similar to a yeti. I think it cost me a 100 bucks. I was pleased with it. It worked real well for transporting ducks from Washington to Georgia on the airplane .

Yes Sir my company hauled some pretty sensitive things for DoD in the Pelican Pressure cases. Try to buy some used from the government auctions they command a premium price wise!!

Since living the RV life for the past 2 years I've needed more cold space for drinks. I bought a Pelican 2 years ago at 25% off sale. Great cooler ice lasts for days. The only downside is the lid locking system. They do break but so far they have been replaced for free.
The 2 reasons I chose them over Yeti, Ice lasts longer and 25% off sale.

I have two 120 qt Igloos that I bought at Sam’s several years ago. Cost was about $80 each. Both coolers have made several trips throughout the western US and Canada. I haven’t lost any meat yet, but do replenish ice every couple of days. Only negative is I have replaced hinges and latches several times.

Man, really. I’ve got a 15 year old pair of Frye’s. Glad to know I’m still cool.
