Thanks Sweatliner for giving us a voice.
Thanks to Rocque Merlo for coming on to the forum to explain what happened and how we can try to fix it.
Thanks to all for coming on here and remaining civil.
I kill about 3 mallards a year so this does not affect me personally. I still believe in sticking with science so that means keep the 7 bird limit.
It would appear that high dollar clubs will have a member kill more green than me in one day than what I do in a season. The big dollar clubs can easily self regulate themselves to 4 or 5 mallards a day and "save" more mallards than regulating the other 95% to 99% of the hunters out there.
CWA should focus on nesting habitat, Klamath Basin, and fair chase. We do not need another spinner debate but we need science to recommend what we can do to take the pressure off of local mallards, retain the ones that migrate here, and provide refuge habitat to help the Average Joe have a chance at a few more greenheads.
Shows what morons these Guys are if
A bunch of emails change there mind .. Shouldn’t be making any recommendations of there so easily swayed .. dip shi.ts
Against the mallard limit proposal that deviates from the science presented.
Against the process used by the “committee”.

Seeing some of the people on the board it doesn't really surprise me.
Negotiate a 5 bird limit on mallards for an increase in pintail. What do we see more of these days? Science is what got us the pintail limits...it's what got us climate change. Science by definition is a moving target...but I'm against the interference in manipulating nature.
Against the 5 mallard limit
Against the 5 mallard limit. Not sure if its too late.
